宗旨

全美總會為一非營利、非政治性之機構，乃是一個具有獨立性之教育組織。

代表全美中文學校參與全國性或國際性之事務，確保團體之權益。

以總會之會務綱領為工作目標，辦理和中文教育及文化有關之全國性活動。

Mission

To function as an independent, non-profit, non-political educational organization.

To represent member associations and take the leading role in national and international affairs that have great impacts on members' interests.

To achieve academic excellence in Chinese language education, culture, and proficiency in heritage language learners.

推廣中華語言與文化，並促使進入美國國際學術主流。

團結一致，維護全美中文學校之權益。

精益求精，提昇中文學校之品質及整體形象。

為僑校學生謀求長遠的福利，以學習華語文奠定基礎，積極推廣和倡導雙語勳章的認證。

Objectives

1. To advocate Chinese language and culture teaching among all communities, and to strengthen its partnership with national and international academic institutions and organization of similar interests.

2. To unite member associations and amplify the common interests and benefits in Chinese education and culture.

3. To adopt best practices and models through resource sharing platforms and network, enhance Chinese heritage language learners' experiences in order to achieve academic excellence.

4. To broaden its foundation and sustainable benefits, actively promote and support the Seal of Biliteracy for the Chinese heritage language learners in the United States.
